The main goal of the Conference is to initiate an important dialogue and in this way initiate a constructive discussion between representatives of the academic community and civil society on one side, and relevant state institutions on the other side, on:
The significance of the Conference is that it actualizes the need for, first, identification and then for multidisciplinary approach to the whole spectrum of issues and challenges that the development of information and communication technology brings, the general digitization of business and work, the fourth industrial revolution, or the so-called "disruptive technologies''. In addition, through the involvement of various stakeholders and discussion on proposed topics, the Conference seeks to contribute to the establishment and development of new codes of conduct in cyberspace at the national level and to combat all kinds of abuse in accordance with international and European standards.
The theme of the Conference expresses the basic view that freedom and security are not only linked, but largely dependent on one another, as there is no freedom without security, and security without freedom. In these two concepts, almost all the key features of modern civilization are concentrated, which should be clearly analyzed through the prism of real and virtual reality.
